When we learn to play together, we will know how to live together.

Join us to celebrate Martin Luther King's birthday.

Build and play with games and toys from parts of the world where play has been disrupted by conflict.

Games migrate. Learn games that have followed families for centuries from China, Africa, and India, through the Near East, to Europe and to America.

Construct (mini-magnetic) kites from Iran that will learn to share and not fight for the sky. Construct a Dhulan truck with magnificently ornamented detail, to honor truck art in Pakistan. Construct, and then play with, an Alquerqueor Nine Men's Morrisboards that have traveled north and west from Egypt and the Arabian Penninsula. Learn a street game still played in Aleppo, Syria – the most dangerous city in the world right now.

Help construct a Carroms board (from Yemen) that will be presented to the Integrated Refugee and Immigrant Services (IRIS) that helps families escaping from conflict around the world.

10% of the fees collected for this class will support the girls of the soccer team in Pakistan's Hunza Valley who are breaking cultural barriers.

Another 10% of the fees will support scholarships for the children of IRIS who share their cultures and play in our programs.
