Each summer, the Museum devotes itself to a series of week long day camp workshops for young experimenters. Nearly 60 workshops to choose from, for a summer of inquisitive fun.
If you wish to register, click on the class you want to register for and go to the Registration Page via the link on that page.
*All registrations must be filled out on the web site.*
Instructions are with the registration section of the site. More Information, registration details, downloadable Health Forms, Extended Day and Ice Cream Forms may be found at https://www.eliwhitney.org/summer-2016-registration-details
2016 POLICY CHANGES Please note!
The minimum age in our classes is 6 years old. A child should have already done an all day Kindergarten program or equivalent to comfortably navigate our days. **
• We will not be accepting registrations for 5 year olds.
• Please pay attention to the ages required for the programs. Some may be in a column for older children but has been designed to span a younger or wider age group.
***HEALTH FORM: Form and Policy 2016.***
We can only accept the 1 page Camp health form which is required by the Health Department. It MUST be signed by your physician and be dated within three years. We will send you this form when we confirm your registration. It can also be downloaded from our site. The medical form may be downloaded here.
It has areas for Immunization information, Allergy Information, Other Concerns information etc. which we must have on file for your child to spend any time with us this summer. This one page form gives us a succinct view of your child's medical issues and needs which is exactly what we need should there be any kind of emergency.
Your child will not be able to start the week without this particular signed form on file.
****Waiting Lists and Program Information****
The online system will not indicate whether a class is full. We will call you if it is. We have an active Waiting List for all classes and registrations stay in flux for a long time. If you want to check to see if there is still room in a class before you sign up, please call us. We will only close a registration for a class which has very limited enrollment (computer classes for example) if the Waiting List exceeds 14 names.
We upload an image(s) of the different projects as soon as we've refined the designs. This goes on for many months. You will see a small icon in the catalog listing below indicating whether an image has been uploaded.
Any questions, please call the Museum at 203.777.1833.
