3D Printers are changing the world from medicine to manufacturing. A chocolatier can print your face in Special Dark. A Japanese photo booth can reproduce your entire body in sandstone or delicious gummy candy. Doctors can design customized prosthetics for people to improve their comfort and quality of life. Garage-based inventors can rapidly prototype new tools and new toys. Everybody’s getting a slice of the pie. Why can’t you make your own minion?

Everybody needs minions: good humored, loyal yellow henchpersons, ever ready for adventure. Design your very own, with their own good or bad hair, specialized tools, and personality. Then learn the principles of 3D design using the simple but powerful web-based TinkerCAD to prototype your ideas. We’ll print your models in plastic with our Makerbot 3D printer. What could be a better introduction to CAD programs than to have a 3D model printing out in front of you?
