Alec Bell (1847 - 1922) invented the telephone and much more. One of his secrets: Mabel of Benin Bhreagh, a houseboat to which he retreated to think and fill notebooks with his ideas. Construct a small model of Bell's boat of invention and a clever working telephone. Then choose two projects to build: Bell's kite, his sheep, his rockets, his hydrofoil, his gyroscope...from a long list of other choices.
