August 6, 2012: Curiosity landed on Mars. The most audacious engineering team in history delivered it. The landing site was named for Ray Bradbury, a science fiction writer who inspired a generation of engineers. Curiosity will make discoveries that will shape your learning about planets for years to come.

Celebrate exploration. Construct a 1" to 1' model of Curiosity with two motors and wired remote control. Then create models of Curiosity's senses and sensors; add its Xrays band transmitter, its UHF Quad Helix, its low gain antenna (Curiosity's basic communication channels); add its Mast Cam, Chemistry Camera, its Navigation and Hazard Cameras (Curiosity's eyes); add its robot Arm, its Drill, its Rock Crusher (Curiosity's hands); add its Radiation and Neutron Detectors (Curiosity's mineral lab) ; add its elephant ear heat exchangers (Curiosity's system for adjusting its temperature).

Curiosity's: a bold journey, bold science, a bold future.
