In this workshop students will learn about letterpress printing and sculptural book structures and designing type – while experimenting with alternative materials.
Artists Jeff Mueller and Kerri Sancomb from Dexterity Press print shop will lead this workshop. The week will include a field trip to Dexterity Press where students will have first hand experience printing their own artwork on a Universal I Vandercook printing press. We will incorporate the group's prints into a simple book structure for each participant to take home.
