How does computer technology work, and how do robots perform complex tasks successfully? All of these things are done using code as a tool.
In this one day class, your will learn to write and understand basic code by solving small to large puzzles, while controlling robots (like Star Wars' BB-8 or a high tech rover-robot in Robomind) on your computer screen. If students are familiar with Minecraft or Frozen, they may also explore other puzzles and games in these environments also. Use Block drag and drop code or Javascript for those more experienced students.
No prior experience is required for this class, but it is very helpful to have an interest in code and computer technology. It would be a great refresher course to lead you into other courses also.
