In this class students will utilize our ULS (United Laser Systems) X-660 laser engraving and cutting system.
Toolpaths for the laser are simple vector line drawings. The challenge is to create complex shapes using only flat pack parts. Sheet goods no more than ⅛” thick can be etched and sliced to intersect with other parts to create unique 3-Dimensional constructions. Students will learn CAD (Computer Aided Drafting) skills to leverage their creative concepts into real projects.
