Before there were clocks and calendars as we know them, ancient observers devised ingenious ways to predict the changing of the seasons and hours. Construct an Obelisk, a tall, slender stone spike whose shadows divided days for early Egyptians. Construct a micro Stone Henge whose openings announced the arrival of Spring for England's Druids, Construct parts of the Sun Steps of Jaipur, India's observatory that tracked the positions of the stars and movement of the planets.
These small models will celebrate the extraordinary power of careful observation.
