All cultures make masks. But not all masks are the same. Masks capture the stories of people and the places where they were made. Journey around the world of masks. collect a book of masks and their stories. Choose your destinations.

• Begin in ancient Egypt whose riches prepared Pharoahs for the afterlife with masks of gold.
• Journey to West Africa where Dogon masks speak to that Antelope spirits that created their world.
• Visit Venice where masks bring together rich adn poor to celebrate Carnival.
• Travel to pre-Columbian North America were the Inuit told stories with dancing finger masks.
• Construct ilgaak, the goggles that the Yupik people devised to prevent snow blindness.
