Engineers build solutions.

Focus on three design challenges:
~ A Micro Bubble Wand: Design a small bubble wand with a socket to connect it to a wooden handle. Test it in a homemade and commercial bubble solutions.
~ A Finger Top: Construct a top less than 1.5" in diameter, with a 1/4" spindle socket. Work from 5 reference designs. Measure the spin duration with a stop watch.
~ A common whistle: print variations of a whistle. Test it for pitch, volume and clarity.

Learn to work within design parameters. Learn the basic tools of Fusion 360, a design program you can download at home for free. Learn to download reference designs from online libraries.
