Newton’s first law states that an object in motion will want to stay in motion unless acted upon by an equal or greater force, but what does this mean? A marble is a great teacher. Put it on a ramp and it will roll. Place a series of ramps on a tower and you have a path for the marble to travel upon. Join us to construct a classic marble tree and observe the nature of motion using ramps, tubing, switches, and levers to bring your marbles from top to bottom. After building your tree, work with others to set off a chain reaction of marbles and dominoes that will travel in a loop around our workshop space.
