2024 Summer Program

Please Note: This is a four day class- Mon, Tue, Wed & Fri.
We are closed, Thursday July 4th.

From the Chinese kites flown thousands of years ago to the unmanned helicopter Ingenuity stationed on Mars, mankind has far surpassed what was once thought to be possible. Spend the week recreating some of humanity’s greatest achievements for yourself and learn about the technological milestones that brought us to where we are today.

Build a series of simple flying craft and play with the physics that make them possible. Assemble and tweak gliders, spin up helicopters, and even try your hand at making a modern adaptation of da Vinci’s ambitious flying machines. End the week by peering through the robotic eyes of modern drones and launching model rockets high into the sky. Learn what makes flight possible, then use that knowledge to make it happen.
