2013 Summer Program
Leonardo daVinci was a teacher. His notebooks collect lessons: a curriculum in words and drawings…for himself and his apprentices. And then, for us. This popular week-long studio returns to apply Leonardo's ideas for developing Renaissance children.
Elective Studios
Museum educators, apprentices and visiting artists will offer projects related to Leonardo's broad interests: making musical instruments, city planning, geometric sculptures, machine design, catapult design, fountain building, cranes, bridge building, time keeping, Leonardo's modern barn (to name a few). Each student will participate in a morning and afternoon workshop. Each workshop will produce an exciting project.
